After our gruelling climb, and successfully holding Christmas Dinner on Kilimanjaro on Christmas Day 2006, we returned to the relative normality of Horumbo camp (about half way down the mountain) where the porters sang the traditional song of congratulation.
A few days later, in Rwanda, having trekked for the better part of a day in the high rainforest, we finally found the gorillas. Yes my hand was shaking when I filmed this, but so would yours be if a 250kg adult male silverback gorilla had just charged at you. We held our ground as instructed and this is the resulting video.
